Our Services
SlipFix provides specialist anti-slip chemical treatments for a wide range of pedestrian surfaces. All treatments are designed to improve the P rating of your surface in compliance with Australian Standards — without changing its appearance, texture or maintenance requirements.
Tile & Ceramic Treatment
Ceramic, porcelain, vitrified, glass mosaic and unglazed tiles treated for improved wet slip resistance. Suitable for bathrooms, kitchens, commercial floors, entry lobbies and wet areas. One of our most common treatments — particularly effective on polished and glazed tiles which can become dangerously slippery when wet.
Concrete & Stone Treatment
Polished concrete, honed stone, slate, travertine and pavers treated to improve grip in wet and dry conditions. Ideal for outdoor areas, commercial floors, aged care facilities, hospitals and schools. Particularly important for outdoor concrete which may develop algae in damp conditions.
Pool & Wet Area Treatment
Pool surrounds, spa areas, change rooms and wet room floors treated to reduce slip risk in constantly wet conditions. Highly effective on smooth and honed surfaces around pools — the most common site of serious slip-and-fall injuries in residential properties.
Stair & Ramp Treatment
Stair treads, ramps and inclined surfaces treated to comply with AS 1428.1 accessibility requirements and NCC standards. Stairs are a high-risk area — our treatments are particularly important for external stairs exposed to rain and external ramps in commercial premises.
Commercial & Industrial Treatment
Large-scale treatment programs for shopping centres, aged care facilities, hospitality venues, hospitals, schools and industrial premises. We schedule commercial treatments to minimise operational disruption — including evening and weekend work for high-traffic venues.
Compliance Reporting
Written documentation confirming the treatment applied, surfaces covered and expected P rating improvement — suitable for NCC construction handover, insurance requirements and legal compliance purposes. We work with Sliptest Australia for NATA-accredited pre and post-treatment testing where certification is required.
